Keith Goacher - Partner
Keith has in excess of 30 years
experience in dealing with criminal defence work, having
qualified in 1976.
Whilst Keith handles all types of
criminal work, he has dealt with many high profile cases
including cases of murder, manslaughter, drug
importation and serious sexual assaults.
Out of work, Keithís main interests are sport
(especially football) and listening to soul music.
Iain Starke - Consultant Solicitor
- Iain qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and
obtained Higher Rights of Audience in 2007 which
entitles him to represent clients in the Crown Court, High
Court and the Court of Appeal. He is now a consultant in the firm.
Whilst acting in all types of criminal cases, Iainís particular expertise is in the field of cases involving the importation, supply and possession of drugs. Iain has appeared for a client at the Court of Appeal in a drugs related matter. Iain also specialises in dealing with motoring cases.
Out of work, Iainís main interests are the environment, ornithology and hill walking.
Jeremy Boots - Partner - Jeremy Boots qualified as a solicitor in
He has dealt with cases of murder, fraud and organised
Jeremy has a particular interest in youth court work.
Out of work, Jeremy enjoys all types of sport and takes
a keen interest in history.
Valerie Boots - Associate Solicitor
Valerie qualified as a solicitor in 1988. She
specialises in family law.
Valerie was born and lives in Sussex and has spent most
of her career working in the county.
Her particular interest centres on financial and
property disputes following relationship
breakdown. She also acts in parent disputes involving children.
Outside of work, Valerieís interests include reading,
history and looking after Oliver, her pet standard
Debbie White - Associate Solicitor
Debbie qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and
worked for 27 years at Coole and Haddock in
Horsham. She offers free representation for
anyone arrested or attending as a volunteer at
the police station. Whilst having extensive
experience in all aspects of criminal work, both
private and legally aided, Debbie has particular
expertise in white collar crime, benefit fraud,
serious sexual offences, terrorism and cases
involving large scale importation and proceeds
of crime proceedings. Her wealth of knowledge
and experience includes dealing with people on
the autistic spectrum/disabilities.
Appointments are available to see Debbie in
Horsham (evening appointments) or Crawley. Out
of work, Debbie is an avid gardener and theatre
goer and looks after her black Labrador, Zizzi.
